Quilting - Panel Quilt with Apple Core Border
(This class is for those who have some basic sewing knowledge)
Panel and Apple Core - what are these? There are many pre-printed quilt panels in quilt shops and on-line that are designed and ready to quilt; perhaps you may wish to add borders or other embellishments. You can choose what interests you - any type, size, design etc. We will then use the traditional "apple core" quilt template, on a large scale that may be cut from 10" squares or your own fabrics, to create a border around the chosen panel, that coordinates with it. This results in a border automatically with curved edges. A rotary cutter, ruler and mat will be used in class or at home. Sewing will be accomplished on your own sewing machine at home. We will discuss everything
