Ready to add a little color to your knitting? In this class, we’ll dive into the world of stranded colorwork —where two (or more!) colors come together to create beautiful patterns. You’ll learn how to carry yarn across the back of your work, manage tension, and read simple colorwork charts, all while creating a cozy project designed to build your confidence.

Prerequisites:
Students should be confident with the basics of knitting including: the long-tail cast on, knitting, purling, binding off, and working in the round.

Required Materials:
-Size US 7 (4.5 mm), 16 inch circular knitting needles (or similar size to match your yarn)
-Yarn: Two skeins of economical, worsted-weight (category 4) yarn in a contrasting colors
-Scissors
-Tapestry Needle
